Delhi Capitals IPL 2025: Full Schedule Squad and Fixtures.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season is set to begin on March 22, fans are eagerly waiting for the season. The Delhi Capitals (DC) will start their campaign against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on March 24 at ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

Delhi Capitals previous performance and changes in squad;

In IPL 2024, Delhi Capitals finished in sixth place securing 14 points from 14 matches. The team has made  crucial changes in the squad ahead of the 2025 season  taking some high profile players in the auction. KL Rahul one of India’s top batsmen was bought for Rs 14 crore, while Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc was taken for Rs 11.75 crore. These additions are expected to strengthen the team as they are eyeing for their first ever title.

Change in Captaincy;

 Rishabh Pant is not part of the team now   there is speculation that Indian all rounder Axar Patel could be appointed as the new captain. The Delhi Capitals retained key players such as Kuldeep Yadav  Tristan Stubbs and Abishek Porel  hoping for a well balanced squad in the tournament.

Playoff Matches and Final

The IPL 2025 playoffs will take place from May 20 to May 25. Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium will host Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator on May 20 and 21 respectively. The Qualifier 2and the grand Finalwill be held at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
