India tour of England 2025 that is going to happen in the absence of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma It is the first time since the 2011
It is the new era of test cricket as Team India is beginning its latest chapter of test cricket with the leadership of Shubman Gill, as India gears up for a test match series against England starting from June 20.
Ricky Pointing shared his thoughts as India is going to play test cricket without two of its most iconic players, he said, “It is very difficult to replace players like Kohli and Rohit. But any country that can do it is India, because of the young talent they have. The former Australian captain highlighted the strength of the indian team’s young talent, which has produced consistent results in recent years.
Ricky Ponting said he has seen how talented Indian players are, especially in the IPL, and mentioned how players like Yashasvi Jaiswal have done well in international cricket quickly. He believes India has plenty of talent, but the real challenge will be dealing with the lack of experience in the team. While young players can replace skills, experience is harder to replace. Still, with some senior players like KL Rahul and Bumrah, and a young captain like Shubman Gill, Ponting feels India can manage this rebuilding phase better than most teams.
Gill’s reaction on departure for the India Tour of England 2025.

Shuman Gill stayed calm when questioned about the absence of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma and said, ” Both Virat and Rohit are very most important players and they have secured many victories for us. It is very difficult to replace them, but our team has a good blend of young talent and experience. Gill said during the pre-departure press conference.
